Mark your calendars, diehard theater geeks.

Richard Crawford, who has directed for Cirque du Soleil and worked both in the US and the U.K., will be directing the on stage adaption of the ever-creative Tim Burton’s Edward Scissorhands.

The tale tells of a man created by a mad scientist who finds himself destitute and alone after his creator dies. It’s a real tear shedder.
